Nob Hill Main Street and the City of Albuquerque present Route 66 Summerfest in the Nob Hill Neighborhood on Saturday July 21, 2012. The Route 66 Summerfest features music, art, local merchants, food, and spirits. “The Artisan, Food and General Business Market” is open to those vendors who meet the following criteria and follow the guidelines in place.
Artists:
All items must adhere to quality parameters, as determined by the Route 66 Summerfest committee, and be well-matched with the Market environment. Items must be of original concept, design, and execution and made by the vendor. Buy/sell items, items made from kits, and commercially manufactured products are not allowed. The Route 66 Summerfest committee has the authorization to make the final determination on the selection of vendors for the Artisan Market.
Locally Produced Retail Food:
Qualifying applicants for this category must satisfy the following criteria & standards: sampling and sales of locally produced prepackaged items; all items must have proof that they were prepared in a facility meeting environmental standards of CABQ or another local authority such as the State of NM; No cooking or food preparation of any kind will be permitted. Anyone choosing to sell and/or provide samples of food items must obtain a permit from the Environmental Health Department. A copy of this permit must be submitted in order for the application to be approved.
General Business:
The General Business Category is designated for businesses interested in marketing their products and/or services. Any applicants in this category must be approved by the Route 66 Summerfest committee in order to participate. We encourage local business and organizations to market there services and/or products in this vendor category.
Only those vendors that have successfully completed the vendor application will be allowed to sell and display at the event. Space locations will be determined by the Route 66 Summerfest committee. The fees to participate in the “Artisan, Food & General Business Market” are as follows:

Each vendor, upon selection, will be responsible for their own set up and tear down including tables and chairs. The canopies and fire extinguishers will be provided by RT 66 Summerfest coordinators. Electricity will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Half of the booths will have access to electricity. Along with the application, vendors must submit a selection depicting the booth floor plan from the choices provided on the Canopy Floor Plan sheet. Your plan will be submitted to the Fire Marshal’s Office for approval.

• Please submit your fee, the attached application and a copy of your valid City of Albuquerque Business Registration.

Space is limited and will be made available on a first come, first serve basis. Booth assignments are made by the Route 66 Summerfest coordinators and as such reserve the right to make final placements.
